Rev. P.J. Dowling Delivers Captivating Lecture on Exhibitions, Rev. T Cartin Appointed Parish Priest of Cappagh

A recent lecture by Rev. P.J. Dowling, C.M. Cork, captured the attention of a Limerick audience at the Limerick Catholic Literary Institute. Expertly weaving wit, knowledge, and eloquence, Rev. Dowling spoke of the Cork Exhibition’s lessons and compared them with the Dusseldorf Exhibition in Germany. He illustrated the effects such events have on their respective countries’ trade and industries and highlighted the progress Germany has made in the past thirty years.

Bishop Dr O’Dwyer, who presided over the event, praised the engaging and instructive lecture, expressing hopes that it would leave a lasting impact on the listeners and bear fruit for the future.

Furthermore, Rev. T Cartin, the former C.C. of Kilmallock, has been appointed as the parish priest of Cappagh, succeeding Rev. J Hallivan, who has been promoted to Ardagh. Rev. Cartin, who has served in Kilmallock for nearly five years, has endeared himself to the community, receiving their best wishes for his new role.
